Baptismal Workshops

Baptism banners made during workshop.
Workshops are held the Saturday before each baptism.
The workshop has a three-fold purpose: First, we will talk about the importance of the vows of baptism and the huge responsibility that parents and godparents take in presenting a child for baptism. Secondly, we will talk about the history of the rite. This will help you explain the importance of this sacrament to your friends, relatives, and in time, your child. And thirdly, by presenting your child for baptism, you are agreeing to become active participants in the life of the church. We want to help make you comfortable in the large and exciting family that is St. Anne's.
We encourage the Godparents to be present for the baptismal class. They are undertaking a special relationship with your child and we want to include them in the instruction process. It is mandatory for at least one parent to attend the class.
