Child Care in the Nursery
Child care in our nursery is available for children 3 years of age and younger. Our nursery is located at 199 Duke of Gloucester and is open from 9:00 a.m. until the end of the 11:15 a.m. service (approximately 12:30 p.m.). We have paid and volunteer staff in our nursery. We require background and reference checks for our staff and provide infant/child CPR and first aid training. In addition to adult staff, young people qualify to help out in the nursery if they are experienced baby sitters. Many of them have had infant/child CPR and first aid training and also taken a babysitting course.
Your child’s safety and well being are of upmost important to us. When children arrive at the nursery, we ask parents to sign them in and when children are picked up, we ask parents to sign them out. Additionally, we want to know about any allergies, special needs, illness, and contact information. For your convenience, a registration form is available online, click here. We maintain these records from week to week.
You may enter the Parish House from the parking lot on Charles Street or from Duke of Gloucester. Once in the building proceed down the steps just past the parish hall and turn right at the bottom of the steps. The nursery is at the end of the hallway to the left. Please do not enter through the Preschool entrance (follow the signs).
