Music at St. Anne's in November and December
FREE Organ Concert With Larry Molinaro
March 27, 2011 at 3 p.m.

Organist Larry Molinaro is one of the region's finest musicians and a specialist in the works of Bach. Join Larry for an exploration of this great music with help from St. Anne's own pipe organ.
This Sunday, March 27th at 3pm, Larry will explore some of the ways in which the Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier (WTC) influenced later composers. The recital will include, in addition to the balance of the WTC, selections from Hans Gál’s Preludes, Op. 83. As part of the accompanying lecture, Larry Molinaro will demonstrate how later composers, such as Beethoven, Chopin, Shostakovich and Hindemith, created “parodies” of the WTC or paid homage to the collection in their specific works.
The concert is FREE!
