Outreach Grant Criteria

St. Anne’s Parish has a long and distinguished history of community service and outreach. As the Parish continues to grow, the opportunities for effective outreach as well as requests for support have also grown. Adopting a model used with great success in other Episcopal churches to coordinate and oversee Parish outreach and funding efforts, the clergy of St. Anne’s Episcopal Parish established an Outreach Committee in 2010.

• are visible to the church and community;
  
• include hands-on participation by St. Anne’s parishioners;
  
• result in positive change to the recipient(s);
  
• offer creative and visible approaches to emerging and critical need.

Grant awards are for one year only and must be used within one year from the date of receipt. A grant may only be used for the purpose stated in the grant application. If the funded program is not implemented the grant funds must be returned to St. Anne’s Outreach Committee. If a program is discontinued during the grant period, the remaining funds must be returned to the St. Anne’s Outreach Committee. Organizations that receive funding will not automatically be eligible for funds in the next granting cycle but may reapply when the following conditions have been met:

• The funded program has been completed and all funds have been expended.
  
• The organization has complied with all other grant conditions including submitting a final report.

• Administrative costs or operational expenses unrelated to project for which support is being requested
  
• Capital campaigns
  
• Organizational endowments
  
• Capital improvements including furniture and fixtures
  
• Purchase of event tickets or sponsorships
  
• Grants made to individuals
  
• Deficit reduction
  
• Annual drives or annual giving campaigns
  
• Political activities or political action committees.
  
• Medical research
  
• General operating costs of schools.
