Stewardship
Christians are asked to be stewards of God’s Creation. We are all entrusted to give our time, talent and treasure with the spirit of giving being an essential part of our covenant with God. This is reflected also in the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.
Our primary focuses of stewardship at St. Anne’s are: infant and childhood education; youth; and giving, both annual and planned. Our stewardship for both children and youth comprises teaching, witnessing, and nurturing each child towards understanding his or her part in returning God’s gifts to support the parish.
Our annual giving, which usually happens each fall, collects pledges to help us budget for operating expenses in the coming year. Pledges are considered a covenant between us and God with the parish as the beneficiary. A pledge demonstrates our faith and commitment to continue God’s work in the parish.
