Please join us at the back of the sanctuary beginning Sunday, June 22nd at 11:30 a.m. (after the 10:00 a.m. service) for Summer Adult Forum! Summer Adult Forum is a discussion-based group, primarily led by parishioners, on various topics related to Christian formation.
Our theme this summer is "Virtues and Vices." In the first century, Prudentius, a Roman Christian poet, wrote "The Battle of the Virtues and Vices," which contains various combats between virtue and vice. To start our study, we will look at Prudentius' work and subsequent developments of particular virtues and vices within Christianity. We can also consider in our study, the fruits of the Holy Spirit and the beatitudes of the Sermon on the Mount, along with the seven deadly sins, and other snares of the flesh that block our spiritual growth.
