Supporting the Stanton Center: Faith in Action

At St. Anne’s, we believe in putting our faith into action—not only within the walls of our church but also in the heart of our city. One of the ways we live out this mission is through our ongoing support of the Clay Street community and the Stanton Center.

Through grants to the Friends of the Stanton Center Youth Programs, volunteer involvement in the Stanton Center Tutoring Club, and youth volunteers serving at the Stanton Center Summer Camp, St. Anne’s is helping to build a strong foundation for children and families in our community.

In May, St. Anne’s awarded its 2025 community grants, and we were honored to receive a heartfelt thank-you card from the Friends of the Stanton Center Youth Programs:

“Because of your generosity, we continue to help Stanton Center provide critical supervised support, essential school and household supplies, and recreational experiences.

As you know, the Center is central in stabilizing life for many children and their families, providing after-school homework programs, personal development activities, and extracurricular experiences.

And we continue to send 50 children to a six-week full-day, wonderful summer camp each year.

You have changed the lives of many children by helping the Stanton Center provide these special opportunities!

Again, thank you for caring about the kids and their future!”

This kind of local impact is only possible because of the time, treasure, and heart shared by St. Anne’s parishioners. It is a gift of love, given joyfully, and a blessing for the children and volunteers whose lives are shaped by these vital opportunities.

As summer approaches, we are reminded that hope and support grow stronger when rooted in community and in love.
