2025 Grantee - Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB)

In 2025, St. Anne's awarded grants to various non-profit organizations.  One of the non-profits that received a grant was Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB).  With support from St. Anne’s, CRAB provided 3 therapeutic sailing days on June 13th, July 18th and August 8th for people with disabilities and their families. The funds from the grant enabled 9 families to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of fishing and boating on the Chesapeake Bay. The guests served had disabilities, including paraplegia, quadriplegia, developmental disabilities, and traumatic brain injury.  For more information on CRAB, contact Rebecca Gonser at rebecca@crabsailing.org.
