2025 Grantee - Friends of the Stanton Center Youth Program

In 2025, St. Anne's awarded a grant to Friends of Stanton Center Youth Programs (FSCYP).  The grant was used to provide educational and arts programming for the 64 children from the Clay Street community and the surrounding areas who attended the City of Annapolis's all-day summer camp at the Stanton Center from June 30 – Aug 22.  In years past, the St. Anne’s grant has been used to pay the tuition for all the campers. This year, the City allowed FSCYP to use its funds to pay for enhanced programming – specifically, for 2 Maryland Hall musical theater teachers who led classes throughout the summer as well as an extra STEM teacher to expand the STEM lessons for all the children.  These additional teachers made a huge impact and greatly enhanced the camp activities.  FSCYP can utilize volunteers during the weekly Homework Club at the Stanton Center or at summer camp.  For more information on FSCYP, visit any Monday through Thursday from 3 to 4 pm at the Stanton Center or contact Townsend McNitt at townsendmcnitt@icloud.com.
