2025 Grantee: St. Mary’s Ecumenical Institute

In 2025, St. Anne's awarded grants to a number of non-profit organizations.  One of the organizations that received a grant was the St. Mary's Ecumenical Institute.  The grant supported the Bishop Doll Scholarship, which enables a student in the Diocese of Maryland from an underprivileged background to pursue a Doctor of Ministry degree at St. Mary’s Ecumenical Institute with all expenses covered. The Doctor of Ministry is a 3-year program pursued part-time.  The first Bishop Doll Scholar, the Rev. Richard Meadows of St. Philip’s, Annapolis, began his studies in the fall of 2023.  St. Mary's Ecumenical Institute is honored to name St. Anne’s among the parishes supporting this worthy project.  For more information on St. Mary's Ecumenical Institute, contact Dr. Rebecca Hancock at rhancock@stmarys.edu.
