Step into History: Guided Tour of St. Anne's Cemetery
Join us for a guided tour of St. Anne’s Cemetery, the historic cemetery of Annapolis, on Saturday, October 18 at 10 a.m.
Discover the stories of those who came before us, learn about the rich history of city and parish, and enjoy a peaceful morning walk among the gravestones. Whether you're a longtime member of St. Anne’s or simply curious about local history, all are welcome!
Donations are appreciated and will support the ongoing care and preservation of the cemetery. Donate here or write a check to St. Anne's Parish with St. Anne's Cemetery in the memo line and mail to Nancy Pollack, Parish Administrator, at St. Anne's Parish House, 199 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, MD 21401
We look forward to seeing you there!
Cemetery Survey Day - Nov 1, All Saints Day
The Cemetery Committee has been working in St. Anne’s Cemetery off Northwest Street to improve our knowledge of existing grave markers, including their precise location information. We are using the Find a Grave cellphone app to build on the survey work of many others to develop a database we can join with our documentary records.
We invite the parish to join us in the cemetery on Saturday, Nov 1, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to survey another section of the cemetery. Participants should already have the app on their phone and an account in place. RSVP to Jay Thomas at gameterp8094@gmail.com by October 26 for instructions on setting up the app and for logistical information like parking. We hope to see you there!
