From Cross to Empire and Back

Christianity’s story cannot be separated from its relationship to power. From the Cross to Christendom, accommodation and the Social Gospel, Christians throughout the centuries have confronted a common question: What does it mean to profess Jesus as Lord?

Join us for a six-week Adult Forum exploring the tension that comes with being in the world but not of the world. We’ll be using Scripture, music, and other readings to inspire and guide our discussions. Together, we will ask what faithful Christian engagement looks like today and how we might live into the distinctive, counter-cultural witness that is the heart and soul of our faith.

Join us for “From Cross to Empire and Back,” a time of discipleship and community. We will begin on September 30.
