Epiphany Adult Forum Series: The Body of Christ

The Epiphany Adult Forum series will investigate the meaning of the apostle Paul’s image of the Body of Christ, using the apostle Paul’s writings as a conversation partner with our lived reality in the 21st century.

Our Epiphany Adult Forum Series continues in the sanctuary on February 8th with a discussion of Ableism, Disability, and Paul’s Vision of the Body in Romans 12:5 and 2 Corinthians 4:10 presented by guest speakers, Alfonso Sasieta and Eileen Schofield. Alfonso Sasieta serves as the outreach coordinator for L'Arche Greater Washington D.C., a community of adults with and without disabilities. Eileen Schofield has been a core member at L'Arche Greater Washington DC since the late 80s, welcoming countless people into her home over the past four decades. She is the longest-standing member of L'Arche's Development team, serving as the community's Friendship Builder for over 12 years. Eileen is also an acclaimed artist whose work has featured at Union Station in DC, as well as the creator of the campaign logo for national launch of the Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month.

February 15 - St. Anne’s Parishioners, Anne Carlson, Dr. Al Strunk, and Lynn Mortoro will each reflect on their vocation in medicine. Join us at 11:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall.
