Maundy Thursday Vigil 2026 – April 2, 8:30 p.m. to April 3 – 7 a.m.

We invite you to the Garden of Repose and Overnight Vigil that begins following the Maundy Thursday service on Thursday, April 2, at 8:30 p.m., and continues through Good Friday, April 3, at 7 a.m.  We do many things together during Holy Week, but these hours sent watching with Jesus during this vigil is a quiet, private, and still time. Take your own burdens there and pray with God.

Will you be the disciple who stays awake with Jesus and prays with him as he accepts a burden none of us could possibly bear?  You have that opportunity now during our Overnight Vigil at the Altar of Repose following the April 2 Maundy Thursday service, around 8:30 p.m.  We do many things together during Holy Week, but spending hours watching with Jesus during this vigil is a quiet, private, and still time spent in His presence at the most difficult moment of His life.  Take your own burdens there and pray with Him.
