Meet the 2025 Grantee: Partners in Mission in Guatemala
In 2025, St. Anne's awarded grants to a number of non-profit organizations. One of the organizations that received a grant was Partners in Mission Guatemala, which is working on a water infrastructure project aimed to improve access to clean and reliable water sources in rural villages in Guatemala, beginning with Chujulimul Primero. The grant supported geological site surveys. After the surveys were completed, it was determined that a mechanical well will be the only sustainable option. The grant supported the Chujulimul water committee to meet with the water committee from nearby village, Chugüexa Segundo B, which had recently completed a mechanical well project. The surveys revealed that water is available at three (3) sites, at various depths. The grant also supported the outlining of a project plan for the three (3) sites.
