Parish Announcement: The Parish Circle

The Parish Circle for the Season after Pentecost will be available beginning Sunday, September 13, in the back of the church. More than a newsletter, The Parish Circle is an invitation to reflect on where God may be calling you next and to discover the many ways God is at work in and through the people of St. Anne's.

In this issue, Fr. Manoj asks a simple but profound question: "How is God inviting you to take your next step?" Drawing on the wisdom of St. Augustine, St. Benedict, and Gregory of Nyssa, and writing with a pastor's heart, he invites us into prayerful discernment about the next step God may be calling each of us to take. The Ministry Guide on the facing page serves as a companion resource, offering opportunities for prayer, formation, worship, service, and fellowship as you consider where God is leading you.

This edition also includes reflections on congregational hymn singing and worship as formation; previews of upcoming Adult Forum series on Church & State and From the Cross to Empire and Back; an invitation to learn more about Alpha with stories from the streets in 3 U.S. cities; a story about how God is showing up in the lives of our PASA preschoolers; upcoming formation for Children & Youth; an invitation for the Blessing of the Animals;, and stories of inspiration from St. Anne's Outreach Ministries, which shared Christ's love with neighbors both near and far this summer.
