Thank you, Vacation Bible Camp Volunteers!

Dear St. Anne's Family,

It truly takes a village to make Vacation Bible Camp possible, and we are filled with gratitude for the more than 60 volunteers who helped bring Down By The Bay to life this summer.

Hosted in partnership with First Presbyterian Church Annapolis, and with support from St. Luke’s in Eastport, this three-day experience was made possible by an incredible team of song leaders, teachers, junior counselors, lunch and snack crews, crossing guards, and many others who generously shared their time and talents. We offer special thanks to our VBC leaders, Jo Tetlow and Miss Good, for their leadership and dedication.

Through this ministry, children from our community experienced God's love through music, crafts, stories, quiet time, lunch and snacks, science activities, and games. The joy, energy, and faith shared throughout the week were a testament to the power of a community coming together to nurture the next generation.

Thank you to every volunteer who made this ministry possible and to all of our wonderful campers who filled the week with laughter and enthusiasm.

Let us pray.

God, who created the wind and the waves, who moved over the water at the beginning of creation, we praise you for the waters of baptism that wash us with your grace. Thank you for our Camp friends, new and old, thank you for the beautiful creation you’ve given us to care for, and send us forth to make us good caretakers of our beloved Chesapeake Bay and to be fishers of men by showing them your love. Amen!
