Winter Relief 150 Volunteers Needed - Feb 16-23
WINTER RELIEF VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - FEBRUARY 16 - FEBRUARY 23
St. Anne’s and First Presbyterian Church (FPC) of Annapolis are teaming up from February 16 – 23, 2026 to house 10 to 25 men who would otherwise make their homes on the streets. This is part of the Winter Relief Program, managed by the Arundel House of Hope, which provides a homeless shelter during the cold winter months, November through March. Fresh cooked meals for breakfast and dinner and a hardy bag lunch are also provided each day during their stay. Over 60 churches participate in the Program on a rotating basis, each one hosting the shelter at their facility for one week at a time.
FPC began providing this shelter in their Fellowship Hall in 2000. St. Anne’s began our partnership with FPC in 2012.
150 volunteers needed
It takes more than 150 volunteers to make this all happen successfully during our week. Please prayerfully consider where you can best help serve. Volunteer positions include serving as a night monitor, providing meals and bag lunches, helping with laundry, setting up the FPC Fellowship Hall and many more. The Night Monitor slots are typically the hardest to fill so if you are able to help us with this please do!
