Just a Few more Winter Relief Volunteers Needed: February 16-February 23
St. Anne’s and First Presbyterian Church (FPC) of Annapolis are teaming up from February 16 – 23, 2026 to house 10 to 25 men who would otherwise make their homes on the streets. This is part of the Winter Relief Program, managed by the Arundel House of Hope, which provides a homeless shelter during the cold winter months, November through March. Fresh cooked meals for breakfast and dinner and a hardy bag lunch are also provided each day during their stay. Over 60 churches participate in the Program on a rotating basis, each one hosting the shelter at their facility for one week at a time.
FPC began providing this shelter in our Fellowship Hall in 2000. St. Anne’s began their partnership with FPC in 2012.

All of these tasks only require a few hours’ time. Even the night monitoring which involves sleeping for half the night.
