Doug Benoit, St. Anne’s Finance and Operations Associate

St. Anne’s is thrilled to announce that Doug Benoit has joined the Parish Staff as the Finance and Operations Associate.

Doug Benoit has been active in financial services for 16 years.  He began his career in Manhattan in the hedge fund and private equity space and transitioned into private banking, investment advising, and insurance upon returning home to Annapolis in 2015.  He was also fortunate to work for two non-profit organizations including the Church of St. Paul the Apostle (Lincoln Center) and the Washington Master Chorale where his focuses were finance, operations, major giving campaigns and grants, and communications.

He studied classical voice performance at the Oberlin College Conservatory (2001-2005) and New England Conservatory of Music (2005-2008) and completed continuing education coursework in business and finance through the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2016-2019).  He is a soloist and section leader in the St. Anne's Music Ministry and co-chair of the Rainbow Group leadership committee.  He frequently volunteers with Annapolis Lighthouse Homeless Prevention Support Center and Covenant House (Washington D.C.) which supports homeless youth, the LGBTQIA+ community, young people of color, and pregnant or parenting youth.

Doug is incredibly grateful to be a part of the St. Anne’s family, whose mission it is to reflect the love of Christ by building, engaging, evangelizing, and forming disciples in the Circle and the surrounding community.  And most importantly, it is a place where ALL are truly welcome!
