Women’s Bible Study
The next meetings for Women’s Bible Study will take place on Saturday, October 24 and Wednesday, October 28! We will continue our exploration of themes in Romans 5 - 16 of justification by faith, uniting diverse communities, and new ways of living through the Holy Spirit.
The Wednesday meetings are from 1–2:00 p.m. at the home of Judy Guy. The remaining dates are: November 11 and November 25.
The Saturday meetings are from 10-11:30 a.m. at the home of Patricia Jennings. The remaining dates are: November 7, November 21, and December 5.
For each of the sessions there is a reading. Each participant comes prepared to present their interpretation of the reading, as well as a question/thought. Some members find it helpful to prepare a short (under 300 words) paragraph to read. At the beginning of the meeting, we go around the room, and everyone shares their presentation. We then use our questions/thoughts as the starting point for our discussions.
