Advent Reflection Booklet

The Advent Reflection booklet is a time-honored tradition at St. Anne's--a chance to sit quietly with daily scriptures and explore the meaning of God's word in our own heart, and in our own time. The booklet will be available online in time for Advent (November 30th), with limited hardcopies available in the church and Parish Hall.

The inspiration for “Madonna of the Red Planet” came from Psalm 19:6, about the omnipresence of God in creation. How do we visualize this in a quantum universe? If God is everywhere then surely Mary, the universal mother, is there also, in potentiality and in this instance, in human imagination, manifesting the tender and holy beauty of new life and its nurture.
