In his popular From the Archives series, St. Anne's Historian Eric Fredland brings our parish's history to life through stories of the people and events that shaped St. Anne's. His recent essay, A Shortage of Clergy, explored the challenges Anglican clergy faced during the Revolutionary era and the difficulties St. Anne's encountered in securing clergy after the revolution, during a time of profound change for the country and the church.

On Sunday, October 4, Eric will speak at the Fall Adult Forum series: Church & State to explore the history behind the transformation of the church during the American Revolution and beyond. His presentation is entitled, "Pre-Revolutionary/Revolutionary History, Disestablishment, and the Vestry Act."
