Meet the 2025 Grantees at the Adult Forum on Nov 2, 9 and 16
In 2025, St. Anne's awarded grants to a number of non-profit organizations including the Chase Home. The Chase Home funds an emergency discretionary fund for women who are facing eviction and who live in affordable housing but may not receive legal representation from attorneys at community legal service organizations. In 2025, the Chase Home's emergency discretionary fund has assisted 28 women and 45 children. All but one of the women assisted with children have been single, head of household. The Chase Home notes that rent eviction continues to be a major problem in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County as the affordable housing shortage continues and rents remain high. For more information on the Chase Home, contact its Executive Director, Heather East, at heather@chaselloydhouse.org.
This Sunday, November 2nd, the Grants Committee will be hosting six (6) non-profit organizations at an Adult Forum immediately following the 10 a.m. service at the Parish House. Annapolis Immigration Justice Network, Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center, Light House Shelter, Little Sisters Fund, STAIR (Start the Adventure in Reading Annapolis), and St. Luke's Food Pantry will make presentations. More presentations will follow on November 9th and November 16th. All are welcome to attend.
