Saturday, October 25 Workshop: Boundaries & Emotional Resilience for Sustainable Helping

Join St. Anne’s A Cup of Cold Water for a workshop with Maria Winters, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, on Saturday, October 25, 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. Anne’s Parish House, in Rm. 102.

In this interactive session, participants will explore two essential skills for anyone who works closely with others: setting healthy boundaries and managing emotions effectively. Designed for those in roles of helping and supporting people, this workshop offers practical tools for caring for others without losing sight of your own well-being and needs. The first half will focus on boundaries, what they are (and what they are not), what makes them important, and how they are vital for both you and the people you serve. The second half will focus on managing emotions, both your own and those of the people you interact with. We’ll cover emotional awareness, strategies for staying grounded in challenging situations, and tools for responding instead of reacting. Throughout the workshop, you’ll engage in short activities, self reflection exercises, and guided conversations that connect the concepts to your daily work. All are welcome to attend.

Saturday, October 25, 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., St. Anne's Parish House in Rm. 102.

Speaker and Workshop Facilitator: Maria Winters, LCPC, NCC, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Learn more about Maria and this program here.
