Clergy Epistle

Dear St. Anne’s Family,

Please join me in welcoming The Rev. Canon Mary Sulerud as she joins our clergy staff on October 1, 2026, as Associate Rector. Mary+ brings a wealth of experience to St. Anne’s, having served as a parish rector, Canon to the Ordinary, diocesan staff member in two dioceses, and Senior Associate in a large and thriving parish. She also served as the search consultant who guided our parish through the discernment process that ultimately brought me to St. Anne’s.

What impresses me most, however, is not her extensive résumé, but her spirit: a deep love for the Church, a pastor’s heart, and the wisdom that comes from decades of faithful ministry. I am grateful for the gifts she brings and excited for the ways God will use her ministry among us.

Mary+ will be serving as Assisting Clergy on Sunday, October 4, at the 10:00 a.m. service. Please take a moment to introduce yourself and extend a warm St. Anne’s welcome as she begins this new chapter with our parish.
