Oblation Bearers - New Volunteer Role at the 10 a.m. service

The Offertory is a sacred moment in our service of Holy Communion. Bread and wine are placed upon the altar. An offering of financial treasure is brought forward. The priest and congregation say the familiar prayer: “All things come of thee, O Lord. And of thine own have we given thee.” Beginning October 26th, we will add oblation bearers to the 10 a.m. service. They will bring forward the gifts of bread and wine, along with the ushers who will bring the monetary offering. These gifts, given by the people, are an offering of praise and thanksgiving to God. If you or your household would like to serve as oblation bearers, please email Fr. Dion at dthompson@stannes-annapolis.org.
